How long does the Moodle MEQ program take?

The required time depends on your teaching experience and familiarity with Moodle. Each course takes approximately 8 hours to complete.

 

Written assignments are graded using a rubric based on the DigCompEdu framework and linked to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR): A1 (Beginner) – C2 (Proficient user).

 

  • Candidates can retake Test Your Understanding quizzes as many times as needed.
  • If a candidate fails a scenario-based test twice, they must consult a facilitator.
  • If a facilitator approves a third attempt and the candidate fails again, the case is referred to Moodle HQ’s Qualification Coordinator.
  • Candidates may revise their submissions twice based on facilitator feedback.
  • If the B2 level is still not met, the candidate fails that module and cannot receive the MEQ certificate.
  • Candidates who fail a module cannot obtain the MEQ certificate.
  • The program can be paused and resumed within 3–6 months.
  • Candidates must complete all requirements within two years of their first login.

Plagiarism Policy

As a professional qualification, the MEQ maintains a strict policy on plagiarism:

Self-plagiarism: Reusing previous work results in rejection.

External plagiarism: Copying content without proper citation leads to mandatory resubmission.

Copying from other candidates: Both candidates may be penalized and required to restart the program.
